Each year, Nuestra Casa, Climate Resilient Communities, and Rise South City collaborate to plan the San Mateo County Climate Summit with the goal of elevating the voices, experiences, and priorities of communities disproportionately impacted by climate change. The Summit has been shaped by the contributions of many community partners over the years, including Thrive Alliance, which played an important role in helping plan and advance the event in previous years.

Our vision is that every person is San Mateo County and beyond breathes clean air, drinks clean water, lives in a healthy home, and is part of a disaster-resilient community in which their voice matters. The Summit is a venue to push for the policy change, cross-sector partnerships, and power shifting necessary to achieve this vision.
